Thoughts and prayers don't even begin to cover it for this family.  An Idaho family who sits, waits, and prays for their 9-year-old little girl to somehow survive.

East Idaho News just reported that Shaylyn Bergeson was having pretty much a normal day in her own backyard playing, laughing, climbing trees, and that's when it happened.  Shaylyn fell out of a tree and landed on a piece of rebar that impaled part of her head.  Shaylyn was immediately taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls and eventually was transferred to Primary Children's Hospital where she's been through multiple surgeries that have ended up removing half her skull to help relieve pressure on her brain.

Shaylyn's mother said...

She had a craniotomy and they removed half of her skull to relieve the pressure.  They found there is a lot of bleeding on the right side of her brain too. They gave a 50 percent chance that she wouldn’t survive the surgery and she pulled through but now we’re just watching and waiting to see what happens.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and if you'd like to help with medical bills you can do the following...
