Nampa Man Dies In His Swimming Pool

Many thoughts and prayers going out to the family and friends of a 47-year-old man who was found dead last night in his swimming pool just after 8 o'clock.  His name remains confidential for now while those close to him are properly notified.

According to KTVB, Nampa Police Capt. Curt Shankel stated that it doesn't look like any foul play was involved and alcohol did play a factor in the drowning.

A full investigation is underway.  We'll keep you posted as more information is released.
