What we witnessed on the field, via our television screens and in the box scores the next morning is what we have been waiting to see from these Boise State Broncos all season long.

A dominating win? Got it.

A TON of points? Got it.

Famous trick plays? DONE.

NO interceptions? Negative...not a one.

This team came out to play, to win, and were lead by a third string quarterback at that. Utah State has proven to be a tough team this season and a lot was on the line. A win guaranteed Boise State a position in the Mountain West Conference Championship Game and a win Boise State was able to obtain...easily.

Third string quarterback Jaylon Henderson had a massive performance throwing for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns. Even more impressive was true freshman halfback George Holani who ran for nearly 200 yards and got into the endzone twice. Boise State looked COMPLETE--even with a starting quarterback on the bench.

This afternoon, rankings were released and we have no more clarity than we did yesterday. The Broncos stayed flat at #20 in the AP Poll and #19 in the Coaches Poll. Right in front of the Broncos are the two teams we need to pass to make a major bowl game: Cincinnati and Memphis. They just happen to play each other this weekend. Someone will lose, and that will get Boise State one spot closer to the goal AT LEAST...unless the Broncos fall at Colorado State. Let's hope that isn't the case.
