Never thought THIS would be a reason to shut it down.

Snowmageddon strikes again!!! Soldier Mountain near Fairfield has gotten too much snow, and now they have to close the mountain this Thursday and Friday.

According to KTVB, a spokesperson said that the continued snowfall has made it too dangerous for employees and visitors to drive, conditions for avalanches are high, and there's so much snow that even the chair lifts are buried!

As of right now they have 60" of snow at the base and 70" at the top of the ski hill.

Plans remain to re-open the mountain Saturday-Monday and keep it's regular schedule Thursday-Monday, including during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
