ITD Makes Candy Corn Traffic Cones for Halloween

What a way to stay festive and promote safety on Halloween. Idaho Department of Transportation went above and beyond this year.

ITD teamed up with local business and areas to promote keeping an eye out for children running around on Halloween. They got creative too and designed traffic cones to look like candy corn!

I love when government ettenties get creative to try to raise awareness on issue slike safety. Even though I am not a big candy corn fan I am a big fan of this. Some of the cones even came with signs with caution about little monster running about.

They talk about Halloween being one of the most dangerous nights for kids, so upping the awareness campaign was important. This is a great idea and very clever.
