So, it only seems fitting that someone would take the time in 2023 to determine which states in the US are the safest from zombies in the event of an outbreak.

In addition to around a thousand Google searches, the website insuranks.com reports that they surveyed "more than 1,000 Americans on zombies and what they might do in case of a zombie apocalypse."

It turns out that Idaho is among the best states for surviving a zombie apocalypse. The report says that Idaho is in the top 15, ranking 12th overall. What factors go into these rankings? Insuranks.com based the rankings on things like population, mountains in the state, and even if you could live off of the land.
