It was a big weekend for football fans all across America! Whether you're a lover of the NFL and professional ranks or more of a college football fanatic--big games took center stage and drew in a whole lot of eyeballs.

Fans of Boise State football were forced to 'sit it out' this weekend--the team, who dropped a painful loss on The Blue to Fresno State and watched all hopes of a college football playoff appearance get flushed away--had a bye.

True fans of Boise State football had a thrilling weekend regardless--as a former Boise State star made NFL highlights during primetime NFL Sunday coverage!

Take a look at this huge play made by former Bronco, George Holani, who ended up in the end zone for six points!

We love seeing Boise State alums in the NFL!

Holani will go down as one of the greatest to ever run the football for Boise State.

By the time that he finished his time wearing Blue and Orange, he had over 3,500 rushing yards, a total of 26 touchdowns and from the air a total of 88 receptions, 777 yards and 8 total touchdowns. The guy was a stud--and still is!

Perhaps the most fun? Holani was signed as an un-drafted free agent to the Seattle Seahawks and has worked his way into the the team's rotation. What a guy!

Take a look at the action for yourself, in the video that the NFL put up shortly after Holani scored!
