Each year, the Governor of Idaho gives a speech address the Idaho legislature and the public about the 'state' of the State of Idaho. Just this week, Brad Little did just that.

It wasn't all 'business'--at one point during the speech, Little stopped down to crack a joke sure to make its way around the world of sports.

Can you appreciate the humor in an otherwise serious speech? It seemed that after he dropped his punchline, there was a sigh of relief, a delay, and a laugh from Idaho legislators.

Too soon?

Some may recall that four years ago, many in Idaho were claiming that the presidential election results, naming Joseph R. Biden the President of the United States because of claims made by former President, Donald Trump.

Of course, the Heisman voting is far less serious than American politics and with all of the division that we see and hear about in the Idaho State Capitol building, a joke was probably welcomed.
