These 6 ‘Unusual’ Baby Names Are Weirdly Popular in Idaho

Here in Idaho, we're a little different. Ask any long-time Idahoan and you're bound to learn that we're a little 'special'. There is no denying the fact that people here in Idaho, LOVE Idaho.

We have a different style of life, a different pace of living, and we're surrounded by some of the greatest outdoors offerings that the entire planet has to offer.

What else sets us apart? Apparently, we like to name our children pretty 'peculiar' names...

What are little boys and little girls being named in Idaho?

Take a look-- have you ever heard of these names or met someone that goes by these names in Idaho? 

Honestly, we kind of love all of them! 

As you probably noticed from the list, not all of these names were 'obnoxious' and while to most people, a name like Riggins may mean nothing at all--here in Idaho, it's one of our favorite mountain towns! We think that a little boy named Riggins would grow up to be strong and honorable!

Of course, the list also proves that Idaho isn't the only state giving kids interesting names.
