Can You TP Someone’s House On Halloween In Idaho…Legally?
You remember being a kid, right?
It's Halloween night. You've spent endless hours putting your costume together, gathering the perfect sack/pail for your candy, and even plotting out a path of which houses you'll hit first for trick-or-treating.
Then, it happens.
You come upon that house with all the lights off. No tricks. No treats. No candy. No fun.
We're not saying you definitely TP'd that person's house way back in the day, but we wouldn't put it past you.
So, what happens if you try to pull that move in 2025?
Is it illegal to TP somoene's house in Idaho?
Yep. Totally is. Point blank. Black and white. No cap. 6, 7.
Jokes aside, yes it's against the law to drape someone's home and/or trees in toilet paper, for any reason.
Sure, it's a mostly harmless prank, but if the homeowner really wanted to, they could make a world of hurt if they can prove who TP'd their edifice.
Just a friendly reminder to let your kids know that if they try to toilet paper Mr. Cronson's house on the corner, they could end up getting in a lot of trouble.
