Just this afternoon, Idaho Governor Brad Little had a lot to say about the current state of COVID-19 in Idaho. Unfortunately, the news wasn't so stellar. The Governor shared that because Idaho's Intensive Care Unit beds are so close to being completely full, he is instating Idaho National Guard members to assist local hospitals, especially in Northern Idaho where cases are the most intense right now. Governor Little also asked the public to get vaccinated.

Primary Health Urgent Care is also feeling the heat as their clinics are seeing an aggressive uptick in visits that are COVID related. Because of this, clinics will now be closing at 7:00 p.m. in order to ensure that more patients aren't checked in, than can be attended to.

Obviously, the COVID situation that we're going through is only intensifying.

Of course, Primary Health has three strong recommendations for folks here in the Treasure Valley:

  • If you're 12-years-old or older--get vaccinated for COVID-19
  • If you are indoors, wear a mask especially if you're in a public place, like a school or grocery store
  • If you are outdoors and cannot be distanced appropriately, mask up

Primary Health is also asking all patients to use their "Patient Portal" instead of calling the clinic as phone lines have been overwhelmed.
