Top Gun 2. Frozen 2. Cats. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. All the Phase 4 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's a lot of big movies about to hit theaters and if you want to see them all, this might be the plan for you!

When MoviePass reached it's peak popularity, people took advantage of the one movie a day for $10 a month plan even though it sounded to too good to be true.  Needless to say, it was.  Users experienced outages, the company completely ran out of money, they tried to re-enroll customers without consent...it was pretty much a reign of terror that left a bad taste in people's mouths.  It was exceptionally disappointing for frequent movie goers and that's why theater chains like AMC (who doesn't have any theaters in the Treasure Valley) launched similar programs inviting people to their theaters.

Well, the Treasure Valley won't be left out of subscription plans from theaters anymore! Regal, the parent company of the Edwards Theaters in Boise and Nampa, is launching their own subscription plan for that allows users to see as many standard definition movies as they want, anytime they want.  Unlike MoviePass, there's no blackout dates!

The new three tiered plan is called Regal Unlimited and the cheapest option includes all of our area's Edwards theaters: the Boise Spectrum, Boise Downtown, Nampa Gateway and Nampa Spectrum. It's available for $18 per month + tax.

The plan also gives users other perks like 10% off food and non-alcoholic drinks and a FREE large popcorn and soft drink on your birthday.

The only catch? We think it's a fair one; subscribers must commit to being part of the program for at least one year.  To be honest, if you see two movies a month that more than pays for your subscription!

If you want to check it out, you can subscribe through the Regal App on your smart device! Click here for all the details!
