A school bus accident is never good and unfortunately there were some injuries with this crash.

45 children were on a school bus headed from Borah High School to the Dennis Educational Technical Center when a truck slammed into the side sending two people to the hospital and one in critical condition.

Remember this school bus crash last month that sent twelve kids to the hospital?  Reports say the driver fell asleep at the wheel.

39 kids were on board when this bus rolled over this afternoon while taking them from school to a track meet.

This is why so many school districts keep shutting down school during this brutal winter we're having.  Safety for the kids is the #1 priority.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to these poor families in this tragic time.  At least five elementary kids will not see Thanksgiving or Christmas this year.  And their parents are suffering heart ache and loss that is indescribable.

As our Treasure Valley kids headed out this morning, post Halloween, we all should be extra thankful our babies are safe.  No kids were on this school bus but unfortunately 6 people did not make it.
