The employees of the Mission are relentless in helping their guests find affordable housing once they are ready to return to the outside world.

City Light home for women and children in Boise is a local shelter helping our most vulnerable citizens. Some have no place to live.  It is also who we are helping this year with Friday's Hope for the Holiday's charitable day of giving we are involved with at various Fred Meyer locations throughout the valley.

This Friday, our community get's to do something extraordinary.  We get to give back to people in the Treasure Valley that need our help.  City of Light Home for Women and Children are the people who need us this year.  The staff here at WOW 104.3 and YOU (if you can) will be at several Fred Meyer locations throughout the valley.

I was honored to attend a lunch for our veterans at First Baptist Church put on by the Boise Rescue Mission.
