Some Idahoans complain about Californians moving to the Gem state, however, I would like to point out what was on the way here from Florida recently. A couple moving to Idaho from Florida last month crammed forty-one cats, yes 41 cats, in the back of a U-Haul that was also crammed with everything else for the move.

Boise is a massive St. Jude supporter and is home to multiple fundraisers every year. For Halloween there is a cute and fun way to get involved and donate. “Skeletons for St. Jude” is a national Facebook fundraising effort. It started with one man who REALLY get's into Halloween decorating in North Carolina and wanted to attach a fundraiser to his efforts. It has now expanded to 44 states and earns a lot of donations for the research hospital.

An Idaho man named Andrew from Driggs did a cheek swab in 2010 to have his DNA put into a database. He registered with a company called Be The Match over 11 years ago. Over a decade later, when it probably isn't even in his mind anymore he gets a call from St. Luke's in Boise. There is a DNA match for a Idahoan in need.

The tickets are $100 each and go on sale April 14th at 5am mountain time. Be ready because they are limited to 17,777 ticket sales this year. Last year the tickets sold out in hours. 100% of the ticket sales go directly to St. Jude and their life saving work.

The elderly couple was overwhelmed as you can imagine and knew they couldn't care for the animals the way they needed to be cared for. I would be overwhelmed with that many animals too!
