With bad weather can also come power outages, which is exactly what I experienced last night in my neighborhood. I can’t believe I’m saying this because it’s — you know — MAY! But it snowed pretty hard and, throughout the Treasure Valley, snow was taking down trees and knocking out power.
We can never be 1000% sure, but I think it’s safe to say that Idaho is finally done snowing. It’s officially Spring, and with that comes a whole new slew of fun activities and things to do, but it also means it’s time to get our homes in order.
It is a light green weed that produces small yellow flowers in the early spring. It is actually kind of pretty and probably something I would think was a native plant or flower. Glad I know better now because this weed is dangerous! The leaves greenish-grey and are thick, fleshy and waxy to the touch.
The views from the race will be incredible. The race page describes it as a "fast and stunningly beautiful course (that) showcases the beauties of Boise, from the panoramic mountain vistas along Bogus Basin Rd. to the lush waters of the Boise River."
Eagle Bike Park has a ton more to offer that we didn't even check out. Not only this fun track for kids and BMXers but winding hillside mountain biking trails spreading out right above it. We could see dozens of bikers weaving in and out, up and down exploring and having fun.
