The event was forced to cancel last year but are excited to be back for the 10th annual Turkey Day 5k in Boise and new this year adding a race in Caldwell. One local annual tradition that is great for getting your metabolize up so you can eat more Thanksgiving dinner but it is also a fun way to start a long weekend with friends, family and community.

WOW 104.3's Zizly was helping to get y'all pumped and excited for this years Lifetime Turkey Day 5k Marathon. The registration packets were being picked up at the Georges Cycles in downtown Boise right off Front St. near Winco.If you are not already registered you still can head over to Georges and get signed up and help the Boise Rescue Mission in the process...

I used to run a lot.  But then I had kids.  Ate poorly.  Drank beer.  You get the idea.  But my tallest daughter has decided to take up running and wants to do a 5K. So Dad bought some new kicks and is back on the street training to run with her.
