Every Friday at 6:40a and 8:40a Amy Larson gives you some ideas to do with the family over the weekend in the Treasure Valley. Some things you can do this weekend include:
How about a trip to the State Pen? Guess we ought to be specific and say The OLD State Pen. On certain Fridays they stay open after hours, from 6-10p.m and does guided tours every 30-minutes, leading you through the old buildings and telling you the many stories of escapes, infamous inmates, and other chilling tales! At the Night Tour you can also explore the Old Pen on your own...maybe get everyone together for a terribly, frightening hide-and-seek? The cost is $10/person. For more info, click here.
On Saturday the Boise Public Library and All About Games are hosting the International Games Day, from 11-1p in the Hayes Auditorium in the Library. There will be a variety of games for you to try, like family-friendly Xbox 360 Kinect games on the big screen. You are also welcome to bring your Xbox decks from home and meet up with friends.
