UPDATE: Twin Falls ID Mass Shooter Kills 3, More Wounded

UPDATE (5:40 PM MT): Three people have been confirmed dead in the Twin Falls mass shooting on August 1, according to CNN.

Police and other tactical units are responding to an active shooter in Twin Falls who has been reported to have carried out assaults on multiple victims near the In-N-Out Burger and Magic Valley Mall. Social media reports and other information online have described the shooter as a white male who might be driving a white sedan.

Blue Lakes Boulevard North near the visitor center, along with numerous city businesses, are on lockdown as police search for at least one active shooter. Videos have appeared on social media taken by locals showing what appears to be a Caucasian male firing shots near the In-N-Out.

Reports of the shootings and videos began flooding social media around 2 P.M. on Saturday. The Perrine Bridge is on lockdown as well.

I witnessed police with assault rifles running into the Magic Valley Mall at 3 P.M. on August 1. Multiple videos have been shared on Meta that show a civilian carrying an assault-style weapon, but there hasn't been any verification by law enforcement as to the identity of the shooter.

There have been online reports of multiple victims being rushed to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, but again, local law enforcement has not released details regarding potential victims. The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office updated the public on social media at approximately 3:30 P.M.

Police are planning a press conference soon, according to reports.
