Broadway Bridge

FINALLY! The Broadway Bridge is open. Check out our vid from the opening ceremony :)

After 9 long months of construction the Broadway Bridge has reopened and looks great! Check out the pics from the ceremony this morning.

Saw these HUGE steel beams that must be one or two hundred feet long heading down Broadway today.

Driving around downtown Boise just got harder.  Yeah!  The Broadway Bridge area is closing more lanes.

I'm super excited about next fall when the bridge going over the Boise River is finished and  it will be safe and easy to walk to the BSU games without feeling like you might fall into traffic.  As tough as it is for thousands of us commuters (not having a bridge for almost a year), I think it will be a huge improvement and a great decision for Boise.  But no floating the river????
