Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini and more will be performing during the 2018 CMT Music Awards in early June. CMT revealed the first six performers for the annual awards show on Wednesday morning (May 23).

In addition to Stapleton and Ballerini, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt will also perform at the 2018 CMT Music Awards. No further details on their performances were released, except that Clarkson will be singing her version of the Guess Who's "American Woman" (also famously performed by Lenny Kravitz). Clarkson's rendition of the song is the theme for a new Paramount Network sitcom, American Woman, inspired by the real-life upbringing of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and starring Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels; the show premieres on June 7. This performance will be Clarkson's first at the CMT Music Awards.

Carrie UnderwoodFlorida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean received the most CMT Music Awards (four apiece) in 2018. Stapleton, Ballerini, Shelton and Bryan are all nominated as well; a complete list of 2018 CMT Music Awards nominees is available here. All categories are fan-voted, and voting is open now on CMT.com, until 12:01AM ET on June 4. On the morning of the show (June 6), CMT will share the final five nominees for Video of the Year; fans will then be able to vote through the show for that winner.

The 2018 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on June 6. The ceremony will air live on CMT beginning at 8 PM ET, and Little Big Town -- who are nominated for three awards -- will host.
