This is How We Roll in Idaho
Fishing, mudding, and chasing antelope.
Some friends and I decided to head up to Arrowrock Reservoir on Saturday to do a little fishing. After an hour and a half standing in the wind and rain not getting any bites, we decided to pack it up and find something else to do.
As we were driving past Spring Shores my friend spotted a herd of antelope. We decided to see if we could sneak up on them.
We were able to get pretty close before we spooked them and they ran off.
It was still raining so we decided to do what any redneck would do on a rainy day in Idaho....we went mudding. We took Pleasant Valley Road out past the power lines to see if we could find any good mud holes, and boy did we! We found a lot of mud!
I am proud to say that although we came close, we didn't get stuck.
And that is how you make the best of a bad day of fishing!
