My Mom says if she could choose her last meal it would be huckleberry pancakes from the Shore Lodge, but who do you think has the best brunch?

I'm not much of a breakfast person, but I love me a breakfast burrito, fruit, or savory crepes. If you ask my Mother what her favorite meal in her life has been, she will tell you the huckleberry pancakes from the Shore Lodge in McCall. She says she doesn't even like pancakes, but these were the best thing she's ever eaten.

When it comes to food and brunch specifically, the Treasure Valley has lots of yummy options. One of the first restaurants Rick and I visited when we rolled in to town was

Steve's Cafe in Meridian. In my opinion, Steve's is the best brunch place in town! Located off of Fairview, they too serve up some amazing huckleberry pancakes, stuffed french toast, and some of the best omelets I've ever had. Not in the mood for breakfast food? Try their ruben or fish and chips. Steve's is only open until 2:30pm each day, so it's a great place for brunch.

A new poll also put these two restaurants among the Best Brunch places in Idaho. Do you agree?

Brick 29 Bistro in Nampa prides itself in using local ingredients. Try the eggs benedict with fresh bearnaise sauce and brick bacon.

Goldy's Breakfast Bistro in Boise serves up fire roasted veggie fritatas, huevos rancheros, or margherita omelets with pesto. Goldy's has been voted among "Boise's Best" for over a decade.
