Body Found in Boise Canal

Boise Police found the body of a man in Boise canal this morning. An investigation is underway.

Boise Police officers responded to reports of a body in a canal just after 8:30 a.m this morning. Officers located the man in the canal behind a business near Gary Lane and State Street. The man was deceased and appeared to be an adult in his mid-forties.

Police said that the Initial evidence doesn’t indicate foul play, but the investigation is still very preliminary in nature.

The victims' identity is being held, pending notification of family. Boise Police are continuing the investigation.
