Boise Girl Helps Homeless Women and Children
One amazing little girl is doing BIG things here in Boise. Millee Vega is only eight years old, but she's already making a huge difference in the lives of women and children who are experiencing homelessness in our community.
According to KTVB, Millee started to notice the homeless population throughout Boise, and knew she wanted to do something about it. So she set out on a goal to assemble 50 hygiene packs that include "a hair brush, some deodorant and chap stick", etc., for the guests at City Light Home for Women and Children. She used her own money plus the donations she received through her Amazon page and was able to surpass that goal. She headed to City Light with 55 packs on her first delivery.
However, Millee isn't done quite yet. According to KTVB, she's currently working on 30 more hygiene packs, but just needs to add toothpaste and toothbrushes to complete them. If you'd like to help Millee with here fantastic project, CLICK HERE to donate.
