Boise Murder For Hire

36 year old Samari Winnn has been found guilty of helping hitman murder his friends at Boise Apartments.

It only took the jury three hours to find Winn guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting murder and one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder at the end of a five day trial.  What's this all about?  Drugs!

Two friends of his stole thirty pounds of marijuana from a major drug supplier in Boise.  The drugs were worth an estimated $100,000.  An out of state hitman was hired, flew into Boise, then met with Winn who was friends with the thieves Eliot Bailey and Travontae Calloway.  On the night of the murder, Winn spent time at Calloway's Orchard St Apartment celebrating his birthday.  After leaving, Winn guided the hitman back to Calloway's apartment.  The hitman opened fire killing both Bailey and Calloway.

Winn was identified by Calloway's girlfriend who was shot in the arm but survived.  He'll face up to life in prison and sentencing is on June 3.
