ESPN is reporting this AM that Coach Pete has indeed accepted the job at the University of Washington.  He was interviewing with them yesterday, he is expected to be one of the highest paid in the Pac-12.  In his years at Boise State, Coach Pete has led the Broncos to two BCS bowl wins, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.  He is the first and only two-time winner of the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award, which he won in 2006 and 2009.  He was also the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year in  2010.  I know we are sad to have Coach Pete leave the Treasure Valley but he is in good hands in Seattle.  Randy's wife is a UW alum and he was saying just this morning that while UW loves to win they put more emphasis on character.  They are for sure getting a good one.  Congrats Coach Pete!
