Caldwell Wrong Way Crash Kills One & Injures Two

A wrong-way driver slammed into a vehicle last night at the intersection of Middleton Road and Marble Front Road in Caldwell where one person has been pronounced dead and two others are fighting for their lives.

KTVB reports the crash was reported to the Idaho State Police at about 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 7.

65-year-old Anna Gonzales was driving north on the southbound side of Middleton Road and before she realized she was going the wrong way she crashed head-on into two different vehicles.

49-year-old Elroy Osornio of Caldwell was driving one vehicle and was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.  51-year-old Linda Knox was driving the other vehicle and was airlifted to the same hospital.  Both Osornio and Knox are listed in serious condition.  Gonzales died from injuries sustained in the wreck.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all these families and their loved ones.
