First Responder Golf Tournament to Benefit Nampa Warhawk Air Museum
104.3 WOW Country Joins Inaugural First Responder Golf Tournament
104.3 WOW Country is thrilled to announce its participation in the inaugural First Responder Golf Tournament, set to take place on Monday, September 23, at the picturesque River Birch Golf Course in Star. This event promises a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and, most importantly, support for our local heroes.
The tournament aims to raise funds for the new Global War on Terror Wing of the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, a project dedicated to honoring the sacrifices and contributions of those who have served in recent conflicts. The museum's expansion will offer a comprehensive look at the ongoing fight against terrorism, provide educational opportunities, and preserve the stories of bravery and resilience.
Supporting events like this one is crucial for fostering a strong community spirit and showing our appreciation for law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders who tirelessly protect and serve Idaho residents. It's not just about swinging clubs and sinking putts. It's about recognizing the daily sacrifices made by these brave individuals and giving back in meaningful ways.
A key partner in organizing this event is Code 3 to 1, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting first responders and their families. Founded on the principle of addressing the unique challenges faced by those in emergency services, Code 3 to 1 provides resources such as mental health support, wellness programs, and community-building activities. Their involvement ensures that the tournament not only raises funds but also brings awareness to the ongoing needs of first responders.
104.3 WOW Country is honored to be a part of this significant event and encourages everyone in the community to come or support it in any way they can. While we are there, we will auction off two guitars, one signed by Justin Moore and the other by Brantley Gilbert.
Mark your calendars for September 23 and join us at the River Birch Golf Course for a day of fun, fundraising, and heartfelt thanks to our first responders.
The tournament is full, but that shouldn't stop you from coming out to bid on some awesome auction items. The full list of auction items coming soon.
