If you're questioning for one second if becoming a Partner in Hope helps kids beat cancer right here in Boise, this story will show you it does!

This is Josh Jacobs. He's a freshman at Boise State. When Josh was 12 years old he started getting really bad headaches that were so intense that they would make him throw up.

Josh's parents thought maybe he was getting migraines, but after battling the headaches and nausea for 3 months they went to a specialist and discovered Josh had a brain tumor.

In that instance, Josh's life changed, his families life changed. He went from crushing on girls in school and playing sports to going to St. Jude and being treated for his brain tumor.

Josh says the most impressive thing about St. Jude is that it didn't cost his parents a dime and they helped him have as normal of a life as possible while he was there.

Josh has been cancer free for 9 years now thanks to St. Jude. His Mom says living life in Idaho has helped him thrive after cancer. They love living here and Josh loves being a bronco. He ironically wants to go into radio!

Every child deserves to grow up and become whatever they want to be. St. Jude is giving them this fighting chance. Call 1-800-372-4999
