Holiday Shipping Deadlines are Out, But Are They Early Enough?

Something tells me this holiday season will be a disaster.

It happens every year for most of us. Despite our best intentions, we never start holiday shopping early and the holiday just sneaks up on us. I don't know about you, but I'm not expecting this year to be any different. Even as I type this I'm thinking about my broken New Year's resolution to do Christmas shopping in July.

One of the things you will need to keep in mind as we approach Christmas shopping season is Christmas shipping. This is two-fold. You'll need to consider how long it will take for you online orders to arrive at your house, while also factoring in how long it will take for those presents to ship to your loved ones.

And we thought we wouldn't need math as adults.

Recently, many of the big delivery businesses released their cut-off dates for on-time deliveries this holiday season. If you stuff isn't in their hands by these days, you can start writing that "sorry, your present is late" text. Also, keep in mind that Christmas is on a Saturday this year with Christmas Eve being an observed holiday. This could change things this year.
