Idaho Minivan With 10 Kids In Custody

Ten kids are in custody after their mom and dad loaded them up into a minivan and took off while under the influence of drugs.

The Jerome Country sheriff's office received complaint calls that a van full of kids was driving recklessly northbound on U.S. 93 about 9:45 this morning.  Both the mother and father of ten kids were under the influence of prescription medication and were completely incoherent.

The kids ranged in age from six months to thirteen years old and have all been placed into the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.  The parents have been admitted to St. Luke's Magic Valley and are facing charges.
