New Vanity Plate Could Raise Money for Idaho Anne Frank Memorial
When it comes to choosing vanity plates in the state of Idaho, you have a ton to choose from. Anything from celebrating our love for the outdoors to collegiate plates, to those that honor first-responders and, of course, those that show off our famous potatoes. Soon, however, there could be a vanity plate that promotes inclusivity and represents Idaho in a positive light.
According to KTVB, Sen. Cherie Buckner-Webb (D-Boise), introduced a bill to the Senate Transportation Committee yesterday that requests the approval of a new vanity plate that includes the slogan, "Too Great For Hate." What's great about this plate is that "proceeds from the license plate would go toward the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights in Boise, home of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial."
The committee passed Senate Bill 1297, and it now moved to the Senate for final approval.
