So, So Very Dirty

A friend of mine told me that her daughter asked to have a Cinderella themed birthday party....

...so she had all the girls invited clean her house. Ha!

Speaking of cleaning, if you want to avoid harsh chemicals, or if you're married to a hippie chick like me, you may want to try this floor cleaner recipe courtesy of PrakticIdeas.

"This is a natural, non-toxic floor cleaner and what is good about it is that its homemade so you know what it contains. You will need the following ingredients: a cup of water / a cup of vinegar / a cup of alcohol / 2-3 drops dish soap / 5 drops lavender essential oil / 5 drops orange essential oil / 3 drops tea tree essential oil / spray bottle.

Instructions:

You need to add all ingredients into the spray bottle and shake it very well to combine. Now start your floor cleaning: vacuum the floor. Spray  the “new” cleaner on the floor.  Using a microfiber cloth wipe up the floor. If you are using a mop you should try this: at 1 gallon of water mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with a 1/3 cup of alcohol, plus a few drops of dish soap."
