Standoff in Boise Neighborhood

The area has been blocked off and people are being told to stay far away!

Pennsylvania Street is not accessible this morning between Parkcenter Blvd and Boise Avenue as police are involved in a standoff with a man they were trying to arrest over a domestic dispute.

According to KTVB a daycare nearby has been alerted of the situation and the four-plex the man lives in has been evacuated although it is unclear as to whether or not the man is armed.

So far the suspect is refusing to come out of his home and we just hope and pray that this doesn't end tragically. We'll keep you update as the roads re-open.
