Idaho Power

The crash happened this morning (Friday 4/9) The areas that went dark and had the power go out were mostly in southeast Boise, downtown, and a portion of the Bench. Ada County Dispatch got quickly involved after a tow truck hit a power pole.

A Monday morning power outage has left roughly 4000 Idaho Power customers in the dark.  Certain customers reported losing their power as early as 7 AM.  While the cause at this point hasn't been determined, crews have been inspecting lines in the outage zone searching for what may have lead to the outage...

Reports say that roughly 13,000 Idaho Power customers in southern Boise, Meridian, and Kuna are being affected by an outage.  Representatives from Idaho Power say they are working to resolve the problem. While at this point the exact cause isn't known, Idaho Power reports that the numerous areas being affected include Victory to Hubbard and Black Cat Roads as well as Deer Flat and Locust Grove...

Idaho Power has done some fun things for families with an adventurous game called Geocaching.  Geocaching is a GPS (global positioning system) game involving people, adventure, and fun!
