With Valentine's Day falling on a Friday this year, expect reservations to fill up quickly.  If you're hoping to make it into to one of these romantic spots, you'll want to add booking yours to the to-do list ASAP.

Last week we asked those of you who follow us on Facebook to pick the most romantic restaurants in the Boise area for a Valentine's Day date. Here's how the top choices shook out, along with a preview of their Valentine's Day menu.

    Indian Creek Steakhouse

    711 Main Street | Caldwell

    Reservations: 208-459-4835

    For Valentine's Day, Indian Creek Steakhouse will waive the $10 split charge for their Sweetheart splitable entree. The entree comes with a 16 oz. choice top sirloin and 16 oz. of shrimp. Splitting the entree also includes entree side options for two. The rest of their regular menu will also be offered.

    Chandlers

    981 W Grove St | Boise

    Reservations: 208-383-4300

    Chandlers will offer a Valentine's Prix Fixe Menu for Valentine's Day. It's a complete three course dinner that includes your choice of a lobster bisque soup, wedge salad or Caesar salad to begin with. From there, you can pick one of the delicious entrees like Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Day Boat Scallops, Chilean Sea Bass or Lobster Tail. Finish off with your choice of a Fromage Blanc Cheesecake or The Bomb for dessert.

    Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

    800 West Main Street | Boise

    Ruth's Chris General Manager, Don Leader, tells us Valentine's Day will be a week long celebration at their restaurant. In addition to their regular dinner menu, they'll be offering a special Filet and Lobster Dinner Combination for the holiday. The entree includes their delicious 6 oz. beef tenderloin filet paired with a luscious 8 oz Caribbean lobster tail and drawn butter.

    Barbacoa

    Chef Enrique is still putting the finishing touches on this year's four course Valentine's Day dinner at Barbacoa, but as someone who's attended one of their celebrations I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. In addition to the meal, the experience at Barbacoa also includes take home poetry and a gorgeous bouquet of roses. According to their Facebook page, Valentine's Day at Barbacoa is almost fully booked so don't wait to make your reservations!

    The Melting Pot

    Based on your votes, The Melting Pot blows every other restaurant in the Treasure Valley away when it comes to adding romance to Valentine's Day. Their Valentine's Day comes allows couples to customize their own four course meal with one of three cheese fondues, one of three salads, one of two entrees and one of three chocolate fondues for dessert. The main courses include "The Romeo" (Old Bay Scallops, Filet Mignon Florentine, Garlic & Herb Chicken, Basil Pesto Shrimp, Teriyaki-Marinated Sirloin and a featured pasta) or "The Juliet" (Cold Water Lobster Tail, Filet Mignon Florentine, Garlic & Herb Chicken, Basil Pesto Shrimp, Andouille Sausage and a featured pasta.)
