Staying up late tonight?

Weather permitting, insomniacs will be rewarded in the wee hours of Tuesday morning with a Total Lunar Eclipse.

The full moon soon will pass through the Earth’s amber shadow, NASA says, resulting in a red-colored moon ( or Blood Moon ) for more than an hour. The eclipse will start around midnight,  with the climax about 1:00am Tuesday.

This eclipse is the first of four consecutive full lunar eclipses this year and next, according to NASA. If you miss Tuesday’s you’ll have another chance on Oct. 8, April 4, 2015, and Sept. 28, 2015.
