Christmas is quickly approaching, and I’ve been getting more and more excited for some of my favorite delicious Christmas dishes. We each individually have our own favorites, but what is the most popular (or most searched online) Christmas dish in all of Idaho?

There’s a recent article from Delish that shares the most iconic Christmas dishes in each state. Keep scrolling to see what Idaho’s is 👇

They said, “Much like a beloved sports team, style of BBQ, or the proper way to top a hot dog, each state has a Christmas dish they love the absolute most. Some states prefer those savory Christmas classics, like green bean casserole (looking at you, Georgia, and Utah), mashed potatoes (especially in Kansas, and some extra cheesy fondue potatoes in Wisconsin), as well as their own ideal holiday roast.”

They forgot Idaho! We wrote about Idaho’s favorite Thanksgiving dish, and it was also green bean casserole.

But when it comes to Christmas, what is Idaho’s most loved and most searched Christmas dish?

According to Delish, Idaho’s favorite Christmas dish is Prime Rib. Here’s what they had to say...

“At the end of every year, searches for "prime rib" recipes unfailingly spike, and Idahoans are definitely all about it. Prime rib, also referred to as standing rib roast, is a beautiful piece of meat. Whenever we need a truly showstopping holiday roast, we turn to it. A well-cooked prime rib is juicy, full of flavor, and not at all difficult to make, either!”
