Ho, Ho, Ho.....

We've all heard of Christmas in July, but how about Christmas all year long?

Hang onto your candy canes. There's a shop way up North, of course, that celebrates all things Christmas 365 Days per year.

It's called Christmas At The Lake, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Christmas At The Lake is open with new owners Cyrus And Bekah Zamani.

I spoke to Cyrus about the shop and he said, "things are happening fast and the shop is open. There was some confusion. We took over after the original owner passed.".

He also mentioned to be on the lookout for new online social media accounts. Currently they are on Instagram.

I love Christmas. The trees, ornaments, shopping, wrapping, Christmas music, Santa, Jesus, everything. Except tinsel. But that's another story.

I may have been an elf in a past life. I grew up with amazing stores that went all out on Christmas, and I remember that warm feeling when I walked into the shop. The smells, sights, and sounds of Christmas. It's magical and comforting.

All Christmas, all the time requires a certain level of inventory and quality to keep people coming back each year and year-round.

They have it all. The lights, German nutcrackers, seasonal figurines, tabletop decorations, and handcrafted decor you can't get at the big box stores.

Their ornament offerings are vast and go beyond Christmas. Celebrating life moments, from birthdays to weddings and each can be personalized to make them special keepsakes.

Families make it a tradition to visit the store each season to pick out a special ornament for the tree. I remember doing that as a kid at our local Christmas shop called Hauer's, and Christmas just wasn't Christmas without it.

In an era of Amazon and trending light-up and blow-up lawn decorations, it's nice to see truly unique and special ornaments and decorations exist that can be displayed and loved year after year.

Yes, it's a bit of a sleigh ride up to Christmas By The Lake. But, perhaps the journey is part of the experience and maybe part of your new annual Christmas tradition.
