Do you remember in 2018 when Haile Deegan made history when she became the 1st female winner in NASCAR K&N West Series?  Hailie was only seventeen when she won at Meridian Speedway. This weekend at the age of twenty-one she will be making her NASCAR Xfinity series debut in Las Vegas.

You can watch the race October 15 on NBC and Peacock at 3:00 PM ET/1:00 PM MT.

In an Instagram post a couple weeks ago she made the big announcement saying "So excited to finally be able to tell everyone that I’m going to be making my @nascar @xfinityracing debut in less than 2 weeks in Las Vegas!! It’s truly a dream come true to be able to hit the track in this @pristineauction @ford Mustang 🙌."

She's been racing in the Camping World Truck Series fulltime for about 2 years now, and during the announcement on YouTube she said "I just really wanted to make my debut for sure on a mile and half because that's where I feel most comfortable but I wanted to get my feet wet in the Xfinity series."

Hailie made history in the NASCAR K&N Series on the quarter mile track in Meridian in 2018 had hasn't looked back. This year in the Camping World Truck Series she has 2 top 10 finishes and 6 DNFs. In her video she also mentions "I don't know yet what I'm gonna be doing next year, I wish I knew and had it figured out already but we're still working through a few things so no news on that yet."
