Is choosing a boy's name easier than choosing a girl's name?

I can't answer that question, but you could always pass down a name. Does that make it easier than having to choose a name for a girl? Only if you're wanting to pass down a family name. Either way naming a child can be difficult.

I saw a tip on  thetot.com that mentioned avoiding passing trends, which makes this list of the Top 25 Baby Names for Boys In Idaho way more important. Having looked at the list it looks like a lot of people are sticking with those strong traditional names when it comes to naming their babies.

Another tip that they bring up is to not forget about the initials. That's something that I can relate to, my initials are K.K.M. You can see how important it is when considering a name that initials can get really close to a completely different meaning.

Do your child a favor and make sure you're thinking about all possible nicknames as well, I think we all know that some kids can be real jerks, and any possible option they get to make fun of your kids could already be teed up with their name.

My nephew is named after his dad, whos named after his father which makes him the III but they everyone calls him Trace. Tres in Spanish means three, that's a nickname I love and has some thought behind it.

Maybe this list will spark some ideas, or even help you avoid naming your child one of the most popular names in Idaho. How many kids do we really need named "Mateo"? lol kidding!!
