3-Year-Old Mason Is Carly’s Kid This Month and He Needs a Liver Transplant
Meet Mason. This precious little 3-year-old boy from Boise needs a liver transplant and we need your help!
Mason was born with a rare liver disease called biliary Atresia. He had his first big surgery at 10 weeks old. After surgery, Mason was on steroids and got an infection that caused him to go septic. When he was only 10 months old he went into cardiac arrest. With no pulse for 15 minutes, he also received an anoxic brain injury.
Thankfully, with a bunch of prayers and physical therapy, Mason is overcoming all doctors expectations but Mason will require a liver transplant in the very near future. His Mom, Kaycie Nysted says it's crucial that Mason gets a new liver transplant within the next year to save his life.
