4 Hours From Boise Is This Unique Christmas Village
When it comes to the holidays we are always looking for something that will give us and the kiddos the full experience of Christmas. When I was in Colorado last weekend we did just that with a Christmas-themed train ride that had Santa visiting the train, and a drive through the "North Pole" it was so much fun watching all the kids enjoy this magical experience.
I discovered that in Ogden, Utah that they turn their Downtown into a Christmas Village and it looks great. It's only about a 4-hour drive from Boise and could be a great weekend trip that's really convenient.
Fireworks, snow, and a Christmas Village throughout Downtown Ogden would be a ton of fun and would really put you into the Christmas spirit.
Here's how the Ogden City website describes their Christmas Village
"Bundle up and come stroll through the village and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Beginning Nov 30, Santa will greet children in his castle Mon – Fri, 6 to 9 pm, and Saturdays, 5 to 9 pm through Dec 23. Pictures with Santa are just $5. Schedule pre-school group tours of Christmas Village with Mrs. Santa at 801-629-8720.
You will find yourself in a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights. Adding to the magnificent beauty is the unique setting of cottages located in the park for everyone to enjoy. Each cottage has its own theme and is modeled after Santa’s North Pole Village."
