8-Yr-Old Beckham Becomes WOW 104.3 Superhero

An 8-year-old boy and his family out of Melba, Idaho is getting ready for what will be their very last Christmas together. Beckham was diagnosed with terminal cancer more than a year ago and was only given a few months to live but he beat the odds. He's still with us fighting, playing, laughing, and living. And while Beckham continues to LIVE when doctors said he never would, his parents and family know that it's just a matter of time. Unfortunately, that time is near and these next few weeks of precious moments together are nothing short of a miracle and a blessing from God.

Two months ago the doctors came forward with new information about Beckham and his medical condition. They told his mom he only has three months to live. That was two months ago. That inevitable day that the family knew was coming is now right around the corner and after getting past the sadness and the sorrow, Beckham's family knows there's just one thing left to do. Enjoy every second they have together.

Beckham is our Rick and Carly's Kid this month and our goal was to help this family with memories and experiences. So many people came together in the Treasure Valley to help us provide the best couple of days ever. If you're a parent, you can't let your mind go to this place. The place of losing what's most precious way sooner than anyone should but for this family there is no choice. This is reality and no matter how strong you are or how much good you've done or how many correct decisions you've made, CANCER does not discriminate and continues to take beautiful, little souls like Beckham away from us forever.
