Having a place like Das Alpenhause in the gem state is great because it allows residents to experience something that we may only enjoy if we go to Germany or Europe. "Owners Jamie and Greg opened the doors to Das Alpenhaus Delikatessen in October of 2016 and fulfilled their life-long dream of bringing a piece of the beloved Alps to the Boise area," says their website. 

If you look at their menu, you'll find some fantastic lunch items cooked to order, like a Bratwurst on a Brötchen,  Fried Leberkäse Sandwich, and Döner Kebab. You'll find a bunch of great beers on tap, which they keep updated on their website.

My husband and I shared the Rueben - the sauerkraut was amazing. We will definitely be back! Cute spot with a little market."
