Idaho AT&T Customers: Claim Your Cash Before Dec. 18
Do Idaho AT&T customers really get money?
If you’ve used AT&T cell service in Idaho, you might be owed money. AT&T reported two data incidents in 2024. A nationwide class-action settlement followed that covers customers in every state, including Idaho. The suit set up cash options you might be entitled to depending on how you were impacted and how much work you’re willing to put in to prove it.
Which incidents are covered?
There are basically two settlements. One is tied to the March 30, 2024 incident, where personal info like names, addresses, and emails were breached. In some cases, Social Security numbers were exposed. The other is tied to the July 12, 2024 incident involving call and text metadata from AT&T’s systems hosted on a third-party cloud platform. If you were impacted by either scenario, you can submit a claim. There’s also a chance you were impacted by both. If that’s the case, you can claim for both.
How much are we talking?
If you’ve got the receipts to prove it, the cap is up to $5,000 for the March incident and up to $2,500 for the July incident. But you have to prove the costs were tied to either or both of those incidents. If you don’t have receipts, you can opt for a Tier Cash Payment. It’s a prorated share of the fund after expenses.
You might be entitled to a larger payout if your Social Security number was included in the breach. The final dollar figures depend on how many valid claims come in.
How to File Your AT&T Claim
Filing is pretty simple. Go to the official site and hit “Submit Claim.” If you didn’t get a claim ID by email or mail, use the “Resend Class Member ID” link and verify with your name, account info, or number. I was an ATT customer during the breach window, and I did not receive a claim form or an email that I'm aware of. So, I requested the online resend. Easy. Every question you can possibly have and links to submit your claim can be found on this site.
Deadlines for Filing Your Claim
The deadline to file your claim is December 18, 2025. The court’s final approval hearing is January 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CT.
