Boise Home Has A “Safe Room” But It’s Not What You Would Expect
There's more we need to address than just the safe room in this home for sale in Boise.
This home recently hit the market in the North End of Boise and is really close to Hyde Park, which is a highly sought after area close to shops and restaurants. As soon as you see this house you might wonder why would someone paint their home this color. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2,000 sqft which sits on a corner lot with a large garage.
I'm calling it salmon and it's not just the house that's painted this color, the garage is matching but don't let that deter you from this home. The price tag might keep you scrolling with an asking price of $910,000 you may not see the value, but the current owners have done their part to update the inside.
The interior includes new paint, new kitchen countertops, light fixtures, and more throughout the house. The home was built in 1925 and still has some of that charm like built-in cabinets and drawers in the hallway off of the kitchen and bathroom.
With a price tag of $910,000, I believe you're still going to have to spend more money to do some updates that most people are going to want.
What about the safe room?
Once you open the door to the safe room, you're not going to see what most people would expect when you're opening the door to the safe room. In this particular safe room, it's actually just a faux vault door that leads to a room filled with books, books, and more books. The room also has a rocking chair, and a leather chair, and seems more like a place for someone to have some quiet time.
