Boise River Flow to Increase…AGAIN
If you'll be having some fun on the river this weekend, be careful!
Reclamation officials warn that the Boise river will see an increase in flow this weekend. A week ago the river flowed through town at 2,250 cubic feet per second, today the flow is at 4,000 cfs.
The increased water flow is making the river extremely swift, cold and deep, making banks and shore areas unsafe.
The reason they release water is to prevent possible flooding later in the spring.
BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
