Boise State May Lose More Than Just Coach Pete

Bloomberg News reports that Boise State's sponsorship contract with Nike could be at stake now that Coach Pete has left. If Nike determines that Boise State's value has diminished with Coach Pete's departure they could decide to reduce or completely cease paying the $40,000 cash that they give the school every year!!

Another huge shakeup: the recruits that may reconsider their commits to Boise State now that Coach Pete's a Husky. According to the Idaho Press, California defensive end Jaylen Johnson has decommitted from Boise State. Who knows how many promising recruits will do the same?
